There are a ton of great games hitting stores right now, which is why you might not want to wait until Tuesday for Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days. While Amazon isn't usually our first choice for gaming hardware, it does stock prebuilts from leading brands like MSI, Asus, and Alienware at sometimes surprising discounts. Here are seven capable gaming machines that you can save hundreds on right now.

Lenovo Gaming Laptop Deal

Even though Lenovo is best known for its productivity PCs, it does a bang-up job in the gaming space as well. The Legion 5i is a well-appointed portable, and PCMag gave it an "Excellent" rating in our review, with special attention to its high-quality keyboard and impressive battery life. This loadout includes a 50-series Nvidia GPU, which pumps out frames at a rapid clip, as well as generous RAM for zippy multitasking and content creation. It's not the lightest laptop on the market, but if you're a strong gamer, you can handle a little extra weight, especially when you save 22%.

Thunderobot Gaming Laptop Deal

Chinese company Thunderobot has made a big push into the American gaming market this year with its beefy laptops, and the initial response has been positive. This is a big-screen beast with incredible internals that stack up to desktops in the same price range, including a massive 64GB of LXPDDR5 RAM, an ultra-powerful RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, and more. The 18-inch display is bright and crisp, with the company's charmingly named "Bionic Hummingbird Eye-Care" tech, giving it a 240Hz refresh rate that's easy on the peepers. A few of the models are on sale right now, but an 11% price cut makes this one super appealing.

Asus Gaming Laptop Deals

If you prefer an AMD processor in your gaming machine, this Asus laptop is on sale at a nice discount. We reviewed the ROG Strix Scar G16, a similar build, and were impressed by its performance. You get a RTX 5070 Ti graphics card here, which will push the 165Hz FHD screen to its framerate limit. The 16-core processor is a compact powerhouse, and vapor chamber and triple-fan cooling keeps the whole assemblage frosty. Despite having an all-plastic chassis it still feels solid and high-quality.

For a more budget-oriented option, the TUF F15 is a great value, especially with a 24% price drop. Built around a capable 15.6-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, the internal components are designed for rock-solid HD play. While the RTX 3050 is showing its age a little bit, it's still a workhorse that runs reliably, and the 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is fair for the price. A sturdy all-plastic build helps keep weight down, and the keyboard and touchpad are comfortable to use.

Gaming Desktop Deals

Here's a great midrange desktop at a 12% price cut. MSI consistently ranks highly in our Readers' Choice surveys, as it combines high-quality builds with good components and lots of room for expansion. The Aegis R2 comes in a stylish case with a tempered glass side panel and mesh front panel, with cooling courtesy of four RGB fans and a dedicated CPU cooler. For graphics, you get the cutting-edge RTX 5070 Ti, which we gave an Editors' Choice award for high-end cards to in the MSI Aegis R2, and the Ultra 9 processor is a top performer as well.

Dell's Alienware brand has some of the best name recognition in the prebuilt PC space, and right now, you can slice 5% off of an excellent desktop with some cutting-edge hardware inside. The big draw here is the RTX 5080 graphics card, which will cost you a thousand dollars on its own (if you can get your hands on one) and delivers exceptional visuals and cutting-edge AI capabilities. We have reviewed a different Aurora R16 configuration, where we awarded the unit an Editors' Choice and raved about its cool, minimalist chassis, solid heat handling, and room for extensibility.

For a midrange battlestation option, this Acer tower features a well-performing Ryzen 7 CPU, which we reviewed here. Pair that with the new RTX 5070 graphics card, and you're pushing out stunning graphics at a lightning-fast frame rate and tapping into the power of modern on-device AI thanks to 988 TOPS horsepower. System RAM and storage are also good deals for the price. Taking a 27% discount on this one is impressive when you consider its solid connectivity, plethora of ports, and attractive RGB fans.
