When we greet a new month on Disney+ and Hulu, we're rewarded with a huge slate of movies that they've snagged the rights for. There's something for everybody this week, but our top picks include a Sundance-lauded Irish rap biopic, a mysterious Korean medical drama, and a new New York City comedy about young folks. Doctor on the Edge (June 1, Disney+ and Hulu)
The streamers are heavily promoting this new Korean drama series, rolling out several episodes a week throughout June. Doctor on the Edge stars Lee Jae-wook as a plastic surgeon who avoids his mandatory military service by signing up to be a public health doctor for one year. Despite his fear of the ocean, he's assigned to the remote island Pyeondongdo, where he meets a nurse with secrets of her own.

Not Suitable for Work (June 2, Hulu)
Created by The Office's Mindy Kaling, Not Suitable for Work is a new comedy series about work-obsessed Gen Zs in New York's Murray Hill neighborhood who are quickly realizing that the demands of a career don't leave much time for actually having a life. If you look back fondly at your hustling days, or have kids heading out into the world, this one should strike a chord and get a laugh or two.

Kneecap (June 2, Hulu)
Music is a global language, and one of the best films in recent memory to illustrate that is 2024's Kneecap, which hits Hulu this week. When a music teacher meets a pair of rebellious teens, they form an Irish-language hip-hop group that rapidly rises to fame while courting controversy. This movie is a fictionalized retelling of their story, starring the band themselves, and it's a riot—funny, energetic, and totally unique.
