The summer season on Paramount+ lacks the broadcast TV offerings that the rest of the year depends on, but June still has some worthwhile stuff, including a massive drop of library movies on the first, as well as originals and live sports. With Paramount's impending acquisition of HBO Max, we'll eventually combine their listings, but for now, here's what's coming to the streaming service this month.
Devotion: Obedience or Betrayal (June 2)
I'm a sucker for a documentary that takes me inside an isolated community, and Devotion: Obedience or Betrayal fits the bill. Located on the South Island of New Zealand, the Gloriavale Christian Community was founded in 1969 by a traveling preacher with extremely fundamentalist ideas; women are subservient to men, all citizens wear uniforms, and people who leave are shunned forever. When reports of abuse and exploitation started to reach the outside, a government investigation threatens to bring the whole community down.

UFC at the White House (June 14)
It's not a secret that Paramount head David Ellison is tight with the Trump administration, and June sees the streamer strengthening that bond by broadcasting a UFC fight from the White House lawn. There's a lot to unpack about what this means for American culture, but it's going to be a spectacle if nothing else. The two main events are a title unification bout between Ilia Topiura and Justin Gaethje and an interim heavyweight title contest between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane.

The Agency: Season 2 (June 21)
One of the best Paramount+ originals, The Agency takes the classic tale of a spy coming in from the cold and gives it a fresh spin. Michael Fassbender stars as "Martian," a CIA agent who is ordered away from his undercover position after six years and has to return to his normal life. But when a woman from his past returns, he must balance his emotions with his mission, with unsettling results. Gorgeous cinematography and a very unromantic portrayal of the grueling life of a secret agent make this a solid watch.
