It's no surprise that big hardware names like Dell are jumping in on the pre-Prime Big Deal Days sales in advance of the kick-off on Tuesday, October 7. Even though the massive sale hasn't officially started yet, you can already snag solid products at solid discounts. Here are seven of our top picks so far, with more on the way.

Dell Laptop Deals

Here's a Windows laptop at a Chromebook price, a perfect pick for budget-minded students or office workers on the go. While the Inspiron 3535 won't blow your doors off, it's a very capable portable, and in our review we praised the common budget pitfalls it avoids, like shipping with full Windows 11 (not S Mode), a 120Hz display, and better-than average components like 8GB of RAM and a Ryzen 5 processor. Plenty of ports line the durable chassis, and integrated Radeon 610M graphics are sufficient for most tasks. Take 9% off at Amazon right now.

In our review of the Alienware X16 R2 gaming laptop, we marveled at its high-end performance while simultaneously wincing at its high sticker price. A 21% price drop at Amazon makes it a much more attractive proposition. With a high-powered Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, this portable will tackle the most demanding games with ease, and the RTX 4080 GPU is one of the best of Nvidia's last generation, able to push frames as fast as the QHD 240Hz display can show them. Onboard sound is impressive, the keyboard and touchpad feel great, and the customizable lighting is very cool.

Dell Desktop Deals

If you need a get-it-done desktop at a nice price, you can pick up a Dell Vostro 3030 for 33% off at Amazon before Prime Big Deal Days get started. Although its 12th-generation Intel i3 processor isn't anything to write home about, it benchmarked decently for a budget CPU and can handle most home office tasks, especially with aa generous 32GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. The motherboard has plenty of ports for expansion, the case keeps cool, and it ships with a keyboard and mouse. Check how it compares to our list of the best desktop PCs.

For something with a little less of a desk footprint, this is a solid compact PC at a 25% discount. The OptiPlex 7020 is a good pick for home businesses, with a competent 14th-generation Core i3 processor running the show. It'll easily handle your basic Microsoft Office tasks, along with Web browsing and even a little goofing off. While the loadout isn't groundbreaking, 16GB of RAM is more than enough for everyday productivity, and the whole package weighs in at under three pounds, meaning it's easy to swap locations. See how it compares on our rundown of the best mini PCs.

Dell All-In-One Deal

All-in-ones are good ways to set up a home computer system that works for every member of your family, as they don't take up a ton of space and are flexible enough for work and play. Dell's 27-inch all-in-one is a reliable performer with decent internals, including an Intel Core 5 processor with integrated Iris graphics paired with 16GB of RAM. It ships with a wired keyboard and mouse so you can have it up and running within minutes of unboxing. While a 7% discount isn't massive, it's a nice little price cut for now. See how it looks on our list of the best all-in-one computers.

Dell Monitor Deals

Here's a super-budget Dell monitor with an additional $20 price drop for your consideration. While the S2425HS doesn't dominate with style, sometimes good enough is good enough, and for $130 it's a great deal. The display even has a few unexpected perks, like a faster-than-normal 100Hz refresh rate, four-star TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, and a pair of built-in five-watt speakers. We haven't had hands-on time with this particular model, but when you compare it to our list of the best budget monitors, it's definitely in competition.

Dell Accessory Deals

If you need a keyboard that's designed for the modern workplace, we've got a great deal on Dell's Wired Collaboration Keyboard. In our review, we rated it "Excellent," with writer Zackery Cuevas declaring that it delivered a "surprising amount of functionality and customizability for the money," including dedicated keys for video call controls, support for both USB-A and USB-C inputs, and virtually silent key switches making it great for working in crowded environments, or when people are sleeping. Amazon has a 14% price drop, the lowest price we've seen on this model in quite some time.
