We close out March and enter April this week on Netflix, and the first of the month always brings a ton of new content for subscribers to stream. Every week, I go through the listings to pick out new material worth your time, and right now we have all the Mission: Impossible movies, the return of the super-popular Love on the Spectrum, a cool-looking new Japanese legal drama, and more. Here's what you should stream this week.

This Week on Netflix: PCMag's Picks

Anemone (March 28)

The directorial debut of Ronan Day-Lewis, written in collaboration with his father Daniel, who also co-stars, Anemone is an ambitious drama anchored by some great performances. When two veteran brothers meet up in a remote forest, they revisit old traumas and family secrets. This isn't a film you can watch while scrolling on your phone, but if you have the attention span, it's very rewarding.

  • Director: Ronan Day-Lewis
  • Cast: Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Bean, Samantha Morton
  • Genre: Drama
  • Rating: R
  • IMDb Rating: 5.6/10

Love On The Spectrum: Season 4 (April 4)

Dating shows always feel a little bit exploitative, but the runaway success of Love on the Spectrum shows that there's somebody for just about everybody. The men and women at various points on the autism spectrum have the same desire for companionship as neurotypical people; they just talk about special interests more. Favorites like Connor Tomlinson return, joined by new faces on their own love quests.

  • Cast: James Jones, Abbey Romeo, Connor Tomlinson
  • Genre: Reality
  • Rating: TV-14
  • IMDb Rating: 8.5/10

Sins Of Kujo (April 2)

Japanese legal drama is a new genre to me, but the premise of Sins of Kujo grabbed me in this month's listings. Taiza Kujo is an attorney who specializes in cases the establishment won't touch, including those involving the yakuza. Working in a moral gray area, there's no line he won't cross in order to exonerate his clients, but does he actually have a sense of real justice? It's based on a popular manga series.

  • Stars: Yuya Yagira, Hokuto Matsamura, Elaiza Ikeda
  • Genre: Drama
  • Rating: TV-14
