July is one of the biggest months that Netflix has brought us in quite some time. It's delivering a massive load of content, both classic movies and shows along with original content from all over the globe. We've gone through the month's new content, watched the trailers, read the synopses and picked out the must-watch stuff, along with a complete listing. Here's our guide to the hottest new series and movies on the streaming service in July.

The Sandman: Season 2 (July 3)

Netflix's adaptation of landmark 90s fantasy series The Sandman comes to a somewhat sudden end this month after allegations against original writer Neil Gaiman. That's a shame, as this is a property fans have been wanting to see on the screen for decades. The second and final season roars through the climactic storylines from the comic, as Morpheus abdicates his domain pursued by the Furies and a new King of Dreams is selected.

  • Director: Jamie Childs
  • Cast: Tom Sturridge, Vivienne Acheampong, Patton Oswalt
  • Genre: Fantasy
  • Rating: TV-MA
  • IMDb Rating: 7.7/10

Ziam (July 9)

Southeast Asian action movies almost always deliver the goods, and everything we've seen from Ziam suggests it's going to be added to the Hall of Fame. This Thai zombie action flick stars Muay Thai fighter Mark-Prin Suparat as he battles a horde of the undead who have overtaken a hospital. Bare-knuckle brawling and vicious bone breaks are the order of the day, and Ziam looks like a perfect summer popcorn flick.

  • Director: Kulp Kaljareuk
  • Cast: Mark-Prin Suparat, Nychaa Nuttanicha, Vayla Wanvayla
  • Genres: Horror, Action
  • Rating: TV-MA

Brick (July 10)

In Dutch horror film Brick, a couple on the verge of splitting up finds that the door to their apartment has been sealed overnight by a mysterious wall, with no apparent way to escape. Now they have to work with their neighbors, drilling through the walls and floors to reshape their building and discover what's happening in the world beyond. Looks like a pretty cool premise that's executed well.

  • Director: Philip Koch
  • Cast: Matthias Schweighöfer, Ruby O. Fee, Frederick Lau
  • Genre: Horror
  • Rating: TV-MA

Happy Gilmore 2 (July 25)

Adam Sandler returns to one of his most famous roles with Happy Gilmore 2. Set 30 years after the first movie, Happy is retired from golf and the father of four idiot boys and a beautiful daughter, who convinces him to return to the course to pay for her ballet school. This one's going to be stuffed full of gags and cameos like a Thanksgiving turkey, with confirmed names ranging from Post Malone and Eminem to Eric Andre and Travis Kelce.

  • Director: Kyle Newacheck
  • Cast: Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Margaret Qualley
  • Genre: Comedy
  • Rating: PG-13
