After a few light months, HBO Max comes roaring back in June with a ton of excellent-looking content. Bring Me the Beauties: A Model Cult (June 1)
HBO's documentaries are always a cut above. Bring Me the Beauties ostensibly is the story of Hoyt Richards, widely considered the world's first supermodel. But it's actually about a strange socialite named Frederick von Mierers and the Eternal Values organization he ran that convinced Hoyt and many of his fellow models that he was an alien from Arcturus sent here to save the hottest humans before Armageddon.

House of the Dragon: Season 3 (June 21)
Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon got off to a bit of a rocky start, but it's found its footing and consistently delivers the vicious intrigue and giant lizard violence we've come to expect. At the end of the second season, multiple armies were mustering for war over King's Landing as the Targaryen clan just couldn't stop betraying each other long enough to govern. It's virtually impossible to sum up this show in a paragraph, so just rewind to Season 1 and refresh yourself before we get into the new episodes, which HBO Max is dropping once a week.

Co-produced with Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions, Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness is a star-studded sketch show that revisits iconic moments in the history of the US through that classic neurotic Curb Your Enthusiasm lens. Who knows, you might even learn something?
