It's a constant battle with streaming services to watch everything on your list before they remove it to make room for the new stuff. Licensing deals with platforms expire all the time, so movies and shows you've been meaning to watch can vanish seemingly without warning.

That's because Netflix doesn't own much of the content it streams. Its contracts with networks, production companies, and movie studios mean its programming constantly shifts. So, each month, we bring you up to date with a list of what's going away and highlight our top choices for what you should watch in June before it's gone. This month sees a variety of solid TV shows and movies going away—read on for the full list.

The Lego Movie (June 1)

Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller punched their ticket to the big time with 2014's The Lego Movie, probably the best toy tie-in movie of all time. Capturing what makes the iconic construction toy so cool, it follows ordinary Joe Minifig Emmet as he tries to stop Lord Business from gluing everything together and stripping creativity from the world. The animation is great, the cast is tons of fun, and it gave us Will Arnett's first appearance as LEGO Batman.

  • Directors: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller
  • Stars: Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell
  • Genre: Animation
  • Rating: PG
  • IMDb Rating: 7.7/10

The Iron Claw (June 19)

It's amazing how much deep pathos director Sean Durkin wrings out of the tragic tale of the Von Erich family, a clan of Texan professional wrestlers beset by tragedy throughout their careers. Zac Efron is stellar as Kevin Von Erich, desperate to please his ruthless father but also terrified of the family curse catching up to him. It's a remarkable portrait of a world most people don't know anything about.

  • Director: Sean Durkin
  • Cast: Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Maura Tierney
  • Genre: Drama
  • Rating: R
  • IMDb Rating: 7.5/10

The Expendables (June 20)

Can you believe they made four Expendables movies? What started out as a goofy excuse to get the greats of violent cinema past and future together in one action movie turned into a whole cinematic universe, plus a tie-in comic. These flicks are dumb as hell, upping the ante ever further with stunts and explosions. All four movies are leaving Netflix on the June 20.

  • Director: Sylvester Stallone
  • Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li
  • Genre: Action
  • Rating: R
  • IMDb Rating: 6.4/10
