Sports fans in need of another streaming service have a new option today courtesy of ESPN.

Livestreams will be integrated into an updated version of the existing ESPN app, and customers can choose from two plans to unlock content. The unlimited plan ($29.99/month) opens access to all of ESPN's linear networks, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes. The select plan ($19.99/month) offers everything currently available on ESPN+.

As The Athletic reports, ESPN will be adding a TikTok-like "Verts" feed to showcase highlights, viral clips, and social media content. The feed will also be home to "SportsCenter for You," a beta feature that uses AI to generate news and recaps about your favorite teams and leagues in the voices of ESPN anchors.

The app will also have an ESPN Bet tab for fantasy sports. Livestreams will show key stats, plays, and other fantasy info.

More importantly, the app has multi-view channels for sports fans who want to keep an eye on several games at once. Each channel can show up to four games at once, but at launch, you can only choose from the multi-view options preset by ESPN.

Overall, the app will stream more than 47,000 live events each year from the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, college football and basketball, NASCAR, INDYCAR, UFC, as well as the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Starting Sept. 20, it will also begin showcasing WWE Premium Live Events

ESPN isn't the only sports streaming service going live today. Fox is bringing all of its news, sports, and entertainment content under one roof with Fox One. Subscription for that service starts at $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year. Starting Oct. 2, you'll be able to bundle Fox One and ESPN for $39.99 per month.
