Spotify is celebrating its 20th anniversary by rolling out a Wrapped-like feature that covers your entire listening history. Find it on the streamer's dedicated landing page or by searching "Spotify 20" or "Party of the Years" in the mobile app.

The experience starts with a walk back to your first day on Spotify. You’ll see when you joined the app and the first song you listened to. In the subsequent cards, you’ll see the total number of unique songs you streamed, your most-streamed artist or band, the total number of minutes you spent listening to your favorite artist, and a playlist of your top 120 songs.

As with the year-end Wrapped, you’ll be able to share each card on social media or download it on your phone. In your library, you’ll also find your top 120 tracks saved as “All-Time Top Songs Playlist.”

Additionally, Spotify’s editorial team has created special playlists “celebrating the defining eras, movements, and cultural shifts from the past two decades.” It comes after the company released a list of its most-streamed artists, with Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny taking the top spots.

Notably, it hasn’t actually been 20 years since Spotify launched. Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon founded the service in 2006. They secured global licensing deals in 2007 and launched in select countries the following year. The app arrived in the US in 2011.

Rival streaming services have jumped on the recap trend, including Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Apple Music, which also offers monthly listening recaps.
