Samsung’s Galaxy S22 lineup is here. After you decide which one to buy, you’ll want to make sure you’re getting the best deal. As this is a brand-new smartphone, discounts will be scant, but you can find some savings if you pre-order or trade in an older model.
For example, US mobile carriers are offering a free storage upgrade for those who pre-order the phone now. Buy the 256GB Galaxy S22, S22+ or S22 Ultra 256GB variant for the price of the 128GB or get the S22 Ultra 512GB for the price of the 256GB. Pre-orders are open until Feb. 24; the phones hit stores on Feb. 25.
With no deals or trade-in discounts, the S22 starts at $799.99, the S22+ will run you at least $999.99, and the S22 Ultra is $1,199.99. The S22 Ultra offers 512GB and 1TB versions. Here's the spec breakdown on each phone. Read on to see what US carriers are offering on the Galaxy S22.
AT&T
AT&T is offering $800 off any S22 phone for new and existing customers who trade in a Note, S or Z series phone (no matter how old or how beat up it is, AT&T says) and sign up for an installment plan. AT&T enterprise business customers can get the 128GB S22 Ultra starting at $199.99 on a two-year plan.
The carrier is also offering 50% off select Samsung accessories when they buy any Samsung smartphone, not just the S22.
Spectrum Mobile

Spectrum Mobile is offering the storage-based pre-order discount, plus $100 off a phone trade-in. Starting Feb. 24, those who buy an S22 can get $200 off, plus the $100 trade-in credit.
T-Mobile
If you have a Magenta Max or eligible Sprint plan and trade in an eligible device, T-Mobile says you can get the Galaxy S22 or S22+ for free via monthly bill credits over 24 months. Those on other plans can get up to $500 off either phone.
Another option for those on any plan is to buy one Galaxy S22 and get the second for free via a 24-month bill credit. Or buy one and get up to $800 off the S22+ or S22 Ultra. Business customers can get the same deal when adding a line on Business Unlimited Advanced accounts.
US Cellular
For a limited time, US Cellular is offering the S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra for free to those who switch to the carrier and sign up for a select Unlimited Plan on a 30-month payment plan. Galaxy S22 devices require the Unlimited Basic Plan, devices up to $1,100 require Unlimited Everyday Plan, devices up to $1,250 require Unlimited Even Better Plan, and devices up to $1,900 require Unlimited Even Better Plan and device trade-in of at least $150, the carrier says. You can also get the storage discount on US Cellular, too.
Verizon

Existing Verizon customers can upgrade and get up to $1,000 off a new Galaxy S22 with a qualifying trade-in on select Unlimited plans. The deal also applies to those who are adding a new 5G Unlimited line or switching to Verizon. The carrier is also promising another $1,000 to help switchers pay off their current phone.
If you don’t have a phone to trade in, Verizon has a BOGO deal: Buy a Galaxy S22+ and get one free when you switch or add a line on select 5G Unlimited plans, plus that extra $1,000 to help pay off your phone.
Those buying an S22 on Verizon’s 36-month payment plan can expect payments to start at $22.22 for the S22, $27.77 for the S22+, and $33.33 for the S22 Ultra.
Verizon is also selling Samsung’s Tab S8+ for $30.55 over 36 months. If you buy a new Galaxy phone, Verizon will also give you $130 off the 5G version of Samsung’s new tablet, or $180 off if you trade in an eligible tablet. Those who buy the Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G also get a free year of AMC+ streaming.
