Just in time for the last season of The Walking Dead, Verizon is offering new Fios customers up to 12 months of free access to AMC+.
Register for one of the provider's new Mix & Match on Fios home internet plans and snag a year of free viewing (there are also some other perks available, like a Samsung tablet or laptop and 2TB of cloud storage).
The streaming platform—which features content from Shudder, Sundance Now, IFC Films, and BBC America—is also available to folks activating a new line or purchasing a fresh handset on a Play More, Do More or Get More Unlimited plan. Those opting for Verizon's cheaper Start Unlimited option or upgrading to a 5G phone on the same line, meanwhile, can take advantage of a similar six-month offer at no extra cost.

Valued at $8.99 per month, AMC+ comes with the same benefits of its parent cable channel—with additional benefits like early access to certain series, plus a library of content from sister networks and fellow AMC streaming services. Verizon is also hoping that access to the final 24 episodes of post-apocalyptic comic book-turned-TV show The Walking Dead, starting Aug. 15, will entice quite a few registrations as it's a week earlier than the series airs on television.
As CNET points out, Verizon is no stranger to streaming bundles. Play More and Get More users can binge with a Disney Bundle (Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu), 12 months of Discovery+, and either one year of Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass. Get More subscribers also receive an Apple Music membership.
