If you're looking to snag a deal on an Apple gadget, this Friday could be your chance. Apple will again offer Black Friday discounts this week, according to a new banner on its Web site.

"Mark your calendar now, and come back to the Apple Online Store the day after Thanksgiving for some special one-day event," the ad reads. "You'll discover amazing iPad, iPod, and Mac gifts for everyone on your list."

While Apple's discounts aren't typically as significant as those offered by major retailers, you'll still be able to save some cash. Last year, Apple's sale included $101 off the iMac, MacBook Pro, and Macbook Air, as well as $41 off the iPad, just as it had for the two previous years.

Apple also offered some discounts on an array of software and accessories last year. For example, it lowered the price on items like its iPad case, wireless keyboard, iPad Dock, and Magic Mouse.

Apple also had deals on items like chargers, headphones, cases, and laptop bags, among other things.

In an email to customers, Apple encouraged users to "visit your favorite Apple Retail Store or shop online all day," so the deals presumably apply in brick-and-mortar stores as well. Apple is rumored to be opening up its new store in Grand Central Terminal on Black Friday.

As MacStories noted, the banner has hit Apple online store pages for Australia, Italy, the U.K., and the U.S., in addition to various other international Apple sites.

Apple isn't the only one offering Black Friday deals. Various retailers are touting discounts on all kinds of products including laptops, tablets, HDTVs, and many other items on your holiday shopping list.
