Following the cancellation of races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia due to regional tensions, Formula 1 is making a comeback this weekend with the 2026 Miami Grand Prix.

Teenager Kimi Antonelli sits atop the Drivers standings after the first three races, having won the last two and finishing second in the first race of the season. However, Antonelli can't rest easy just yet, as Mercedes teammate George Russell and the two Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, aren’t far behind him on the points table.

Since the Miami GP is a street race, it is also expected to throw a few other surprises. Here’s all the information you need to catch the race live this weekend.

When is the 2026 Miami Grand Prix?

The Miami Grand Prix will be held at the Miami International Autodrome from May 1 to May 3. It’s got a sprint race in addition to the usual practice, qualifying, and race sessions.

  • Friday, May 1: Practice 1: 12 p.m. ET
  • Friday, May 1: Sprint Qualifying: 4:30 p.m. ET
  • Saturday, May 2: Sprint: 12 p.m. ET
  • Saturday, May 2: Qualifying: 4 p.m. ET
  • Sunday, May 3: Race: 4 p.m. ET
