We're a little nervous about how light HBO Max has been over the last few weeks, but the streaming service still has enough new content to keep our interest. This week sees Daily Show alumni Josh Johnson get his first HBO stand-up special, alongside a bizarre amnesia documentary and a biopic of one of America's all-time musical legends. After that is a list of everything new streaming on the service.

Johnson is one of the most prolific stand-up performers in the world, releasing new sets weekly on his YouTube channel, and his debut HBO special, filmed at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, has him at the top of his game, riffing on the weirdness of family life and the modern world.
