Philips Hue has used IFA 2025 to bombard smart home fans with new product lines, cheaper light bulbs, and upgrades to some of its aging products. There’s lots of change across the entire Hue range, which is owned by the brand Signify. The big new product line is the brand's first foray into video doorbells.
The new Hue Secure video doorbell follows up the brand's introduction to security cameras back in 2023. This new doorbell has a 2K fisheye camera, and the brand is offering 24-hour video history for free allowing you to skip over a subscription.
It’s also able to turn on your smart lights automatically when someone rings the doorbell, plus there are many typical features, such as two-way talk. Signify also confirmed it will bring AI-powered facial recognition in 2026.
The Hue Secure Doorbell launches in October for $169.99. If you want it to set off sounds in your home, you'll want to buy the Hue Smart Chime alongside it for $59.99. At launch, the camera works with Google Home, Samsung SmartThings and Hue's own app. Support for Apple Home and Matter is coming at a later date.
The new Hue Bridge Pro is the brand’s new centerpiece allowing you to connect up 150 lights and 50 other accessories together. Signify says it will be faster than its existing systems, and it allows you to store over 500 custom lighting scenes.

If you own a current Bridge, you can swap over to this Pro product through the app with what Signify says will take "just a few clicks." The Hue Bridge Pro will be available later this month for $98.99.
Hue is also introducing a new range of affordable smart bulbs to help it compete with its lower priced competitors. These are more affordable than the standard Hue bulbs, but you'll likely still find cheaper alternatives from other brands.
Signify says, “Essential products run on the same software and connectivity as the main Philips Hue line — ensuring reliability and compatibility across the ecosystem — but with simplified lighting performance, making it a more affordable way to start your Philips Hue journey.”

For example, its new Essential A19 bulb costs $24.99 each or around $15 per bulb when buying a four pack at $59.99. There are also strip lights for $59.99 for 5 meters, and full starter kits with four E27 bulbs and a Hue Bridge V2 for $99.99.
Other reveals from Hue include a whole new range of premium strip lights. The flagship of the range is the new Hue OmniGlow, which Signify says is its "first perfectly spot-free strip" for a more premium effect. That costs $139.99 for the 3 meter model, $199.99 for 5m, or $349.99 for 10m.
There are also four other models of strip light from the brand for both indoor and outdoor use with various different prices. The brand is also introducing two new models to its Festavia string lights with one of them offering small globe-like bulbs.
