There are several solutions out there for active folks who want to track their runs, but miCoach is the first to combine GPS technology with real-time voice coaching to help you get the most out of every workout.

The new iPhone app can synchronize your workout data with miCoach.com, so that you can track your distance, pace, calories burned, and elapsed time for each workout. There are separate indoor and outdoor workout modes, and the app even tracks your shoe usage and even sends you an alert when your running shoes are likely worn out and should be replaced.

You can choose from six different categories of coaching programs, including getting fit, running, soccer, tennis, and basketball. The Get Fit category includes several options such as de-stress, lose weight, 30-minute workouts, and cardio conditioning for sports. Once you choose a workout and your beginning fitness level, personalized workouts with voice coaching feedback are delivered to your phone each day.

Adidas miCoach is a free download from the Apple App Store. Since it relies on GPS functionality, it requires an iPhone 3G or higher.
