If you're a movie fan on the Verizon network, you may have been feeling "left out" lately. The recent addition of Netflix to the Apple iPhone may have left you wishing that you could also stream full movies on demand, not just TV shows, cartoons, and news reports.

With the new partnership between Verizon and Crackle, just announced today, V CAST Video subscribers have a new option. For $5.99 a month, in addition to the $10 a month V CAST subscription fee, users with compatible mobile phones (including select Blackbery and Android devices) will be able to stream full-length movies on demand from the Sony Pictures library.

The service launches with more than nineteen movies from a variety of genres, including action, comedy, drama, science fiction, and popular mainstream films. Two new movies will be added each week, for a total of at least 25 films from which to choose each month. Current offerings include Blind Date, Cable Guy, China Syndrome, Easy Rider, Finding Graceland, Gattaca, and La Bamba.

In addition to the monthly subscription fees, users must also have a data package on their mobile phone, with a corresponding monthly data usage allowance.
