Just in time for Halloween, the original Luigi’s Mansion is rising from the dead and coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 30.

The game is the latest title to be added to the GameCube Classics Library, a Switch 2 exclusive included in the Nintendo Switch Online Service with the Expansion Pack membership add-on. Previous GameCube titles added to the catalogue include F-Zero GX, Soul Calibur 2, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Luigi’s Mansion debuted in 2001 and sold millions at launch. While critiqued by some for its short length and lack of screen time for Mario, the game won over fans with its spooky-cute atmosphere, engaging puzzles, and the addition of memorable characters like Professor E. Gadd and his Poltergust 3000. It also spawned two sequels, both of which are also on Switch 2.

If you want to get in on the nostalgic, ghost-busting action, you can sign up for a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for $49.99, which also includes other features such as select classic Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and Sega Genesis games.
