Mark Zuckerberg has been practicing his Mandarin: The Facebook CEO on Sunday posted a video wishing everyone a happy Lunar New Year, entirely in Chinese.

Clad in a gray T-shirt (of course) and accompanied by their newborn baby, Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla spoke fluently, interrupted only by the infant's occasional cries. "Priscilla and I are very excited to celebrate our first Lunar New Year with max," he said in the subtitled video.

"We hope on this holiday, you are also spending it with your family and friends," Priscilla added.

The couple also announced their daughter's Chinese name: Chen Mingyu.

"Chen after her mother's family name [Chan] and Mingyu [bright jade in Chinese] represents our hope for a brighter tomorrow for the world," Zuckerberg said. Maxima Chan Zuckerberg similarly got her American name from two of Zuck's great grandfathers: Max Zuckerberg and Marcus "Max" Hollander.

In honor of the new year, Facebook hosted a variety of chefs from China, representing different cuisines. "My favorite was duck," Zuck said.

"In the Year of the Monkey, I hope you and all your loved ones find happiness, health and good fortune," Zuckerberg wrote in his Sunday post.

This isn't the Facebook creator's first stab at wowing people with his language skills. He released a similar Lunar New Year message last year, several months after first speaking the language in public.

Happy New Year!

Happy Lunar New Year from Priscilla, Max and me! In the Year of the Monkey, I hope you and all your loved ones find happiness, health and good fortune.
