On Friday, April 17, thousands of fans will once again descend on California’s massive Empire Polo Club for the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Nothing beats seeing this artist-packed concert in person, but you can enjoy the festivities from home if you prefer a more comfortable, laid-back viewing experience without spending hundreds of dollars on a ticket and thousands more on accomodations. I'm here to tell you how.

How to Watch Coachella 2026 Online

Coachella 2026 streams exclusively on YouTube for free—no premium subscription required (though you may want to sign up for YouTube Premium to ditch the ads). Just find a comfortable seat, fire up the YouTube app on your TV or mobile device and head to Coachella’s YouTube channel. The channel also serves as an archive of past Coachella concert streams.

YouTube gives at-home Coachella viewers several cool perks. The multi-view feature lets you stream four sets simultaneously. That means no more jumping between multiple screens to see who's performing. You couldn’t do that if you attended Coachella in person. You can also live chat with fellow fans and buy exclusive merchandise.

Who Are the Headlining Coachella Artists?

Coachella endures because it attracts top musicians from various genres, such as pop, rap, and experimental. Coachella 2026 features nearly 150 acts, including headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. Other big acts to track include David Byrne, Interpol, KATSEYE, Kaskade, Major Lazer, Nine Inch Noize, PinkPantheress, SOMBR, The Strokes, The XX, Young Thug, and many more.

In the past, Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Jack White, and Charlie XCX made notable splashes at the big show.

Coachella is a multi-weekend event. The first weekend, April 10 to 12, has already come and gone. But you can still catch your favorite performers from April 17 to 19 for the show's second weekend; Sabrina Carpenter returns at 9 p.m. PT on Friday, while Justin Bieber should appear at 11:25 p.m. PT on Saturday, and Karol G is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. PT on Sunday. All three will be on the main Coachella Stage. But performances start at 1 p.m. PT on all three days, so there should be something for most music fans.

The seven official Coachella live streams highlight different show venues, including the main outdoor theater and tents. The venues include:

The concert series is the perfect opportunity to catch your favorites but also discover excellent newcomers before they blow up. Coachella's site has the full lineup.

Jordan Minor

Principal Writer, Software

My PCMag career began in 2013 as an intern. Now, I'm a senior writer, using the skills I acquired at Northwestern University to write about dating apps, meal kits, programming software, website builders, video streaming services, and video games. I was previously a senior editor at Geek.com and have written for The A.V. Club, Kotaku, and Paste Magazine. I'm the author of the gaming history book Video Game of the Year: A Year-by-Year Guide to the Best, Boldest, and Most Bizarre Games from Every Year Since 1977, and the reason everything you know about Street Sharks is a lie.

The Technology I Use

I use the newest Android and iOS smartphones for testing, but I currently use an iPhone 14 as my personal phone. I just hate that we gave up headphone jacks.

I've always favored gaming laptops over desktops. On that note, I have a 16-inch HP Envy with an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. No matter what machine I’m working on, an alarming amount of my personal and professional life revolves around cloud-synced Google Drive files.

For food subscriptions, my household sticks with CookUnity and HelloFresh for meals. Video streaming is a bit more complicated. While there are too many services to list, we're subscribed to most of the major ones. These days, I find myself drawn to HBO Max's movies and shows, as well as Peacock's reality trash.

I've been a lifelong Nintendo fan, and I sincerely believe the Nintendo Switch will go down as one of the best gaming consoles of all time. It has an unbelievable library of new and old games from Nintendo and third-party companies. The handheld/console hybrid approach makes playing games so much more flexible, a legacy that continues with the Nintendo Switch 2 and Valve’s Steam Deck.
