Paramount+ avoided price hikes in 2025, unlike its rivals Apple TV, Disney+, HBO Max, and Netflix. However, it will now increase its prices starting Thursday, Jan. 15.

Paramount first announced the price increase in November, but you now have less than 24 hours to lock in savings on an annual plan to keep watching shows like Dexter, South Park, Star Trek, and Yellowstone.

The price hike will see its ad-supported Essential plan rise from $59.99 a year to $89.99. The streamer's top-end Premium package will rise from $119.99 to $139.99. If you subscribe now, however, you can save $30 on an Essential deal or $20 on a Premium option.

The pay-monthly deals are also increasing by $1 per month. That brings the ad-supported plan up to $8.99 per month, with the Premium plan rising to $13.99 per month.

It’s unclear why Paramount is making its yearly deals a worse value. Starting from Jan. 15, opting for a yearly package will save $18 per year when it was previously $35. It's less dramatic for the Premium package, but the savings are dropping from $35 to $28.

If you know you'll watch Paramount+ for the next year, you may find it worthwhile to lock in the price today with a yearly subscription. The brand is also “retiring” its standard seven-day free trial that has been in place since the service launched. If you plan to watch something short on Paramount+ in the near future, consider setting up the trial within the next 24 hours, as it will be your last chance to gain free access.

If you don’t want to buy Paramount+, you can get access to the service through Walmart+. The retailer’s $12.99 subscription provides access to either Paramount+ or Peacock, along with benefits such as free shipping options.
