Purchase links in TikTok videos are nothing new, but the next step is to book a whole vacation, including your hotel, attractions you want to see, tours to go on, and more, without leaving the social media app.

TikTok Go is rolling out in the US for those 18 and older, and lets users find and book trips, with easy-to-use purchase links across videos, search results, and pages showcasing locations. If you find a travel video with TikTok Go enabled, you may find a direct link to each experience, such as the hotel they're staying at. You can read key details about the hotel, check availability, and complete the booking without switching to another service.

It’s happening through partnerships with leading travel booking services, including Booking.com, Expedia, GetYourGuide, Tiqets, Trip.com, and Viator.

“Every day on TikTok, millions of people discover where to eat, where to stay, and what to do next," says CEO of TikTok USDS Joint Venture, Adam Presser. "TikTok Go connects that moment of inspiration directly to the businesses behind it, and that’s good for creators, good for local businesses, and good for communities.”

TikTok is also encouraging creators to include links to where they're going within their content. For example, if your favorite creator is on vacation, you can book the same activities they've filmed without having to search. The creator then earns a commission

This may prove helpful when looking at niche adventures, such as a specific tour guide or small-scale attraction that is difficult to find through a search engine.

Uber recently introduced tools to book hotels and expand recommendations for local activities, such as where to eat or which attractions to visit, while Airbnb added hotel bookings.
