If you're like the folks over at Haier's AQUA, you've always wanted a starship repair droid but could never justify the purchase.

Thankfully, the Japanese manufacturer has your back, and has upgraded R2-D2 to do something a lot more practical than repair your X-Wing.

Its scale replica of R2-D2 will roll, twist, and beep just like the real thing. Unlike the actual R2, however, this device is also rechargeable mini-fridge.

With enough space to store 12 regular-sized cans, R2-D2 is fully maneuverable and controlled by a small remote. Yes, you can really lie back on your couch as R2-D2 serves you drinks.

Though pricing is yet to be announced, expect it to be hefty – this ain't a Jawa fire-sale, son.

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait to get your hands on this drunken droid, since the R2 fridge won't be available until 2016.
