You’ll watch Lady Gaga’s latest music video to hear “Stupid Love,” but take a moment to appreciate the actual footage.

Apple confirmed the iPhone 11 Pro filmed it, and now there's a shortened version of the music video to promote this achievement. Specifically, the Filmic Pro app captured every scene before getting turned over to professional editors. The 'Shot on iPhone' clip reveals that, while the top-tier iPhone shot all scenes, Lady Gaga and her creative team also relied on "additional hardware" such as lighting equipment and stabilizers. So other elements did enhance the look and feel of "Stupid Love," but there's no doubting the iPhone 11 Pro's ability to master videography.

Celebrities use the iPhone in their projects quite often. Back in 2018, director Steven Soderbergh released Unsane as a psychological horror film shot entirely on the iPhone 7 Plus. Selena Gomez, another entertainer with a large fanbase, chose the iPhone 11 Pro to shoot her “Lose You To Love Me” music video last fall. Apple also runs traditional ads featuring celebrities to promote their products and services.

"Stupid Love" is currently available on all major streaming platforms, but the Daniel Askill-directed music video continues holding YouTube's top spot on its trending list. More than 12 million views are tallied so far.

Lady Gaga will release her sixth studio album in 2020. In the aftermath of this collaboration, Apple could sign an agreement to offer exclusive content through Apple Music upon its arrival. Last year, she performed at Apple Park when the Cupertino-based company formally opened its new campus. Both sides are very familiar partners at this point, and it wouldn't be surprising if Lady Gaga and Apple come together again in the future.
