The Note 4 is a phone to look forward too, and it should be announced slightly before European trade show IFA next month. There isn't much surprise about that, but today it appears that remaining surprise around the spec has been removed by an Indian shop revealing the details of the phone.

From what the capture image suggests, there's nothing much here that's going to shock, although the sheet claims the phone is running 4.4.3, rather than 4.4.4. That wouldn't usually be significant, but the latest version of Android closes a significant security hole, and we'd expect the phone would ship with it even though these specs suggest otherwise.

Aside from that, expect the usual 16, 32 and 64GB variants with microSD to add another 128GB of music and video storage. Two processors are available, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and the Samsung Exynos. Which you get will likely depend on the region in which you buy the phone, and if you're getting it on an LTE network or not.

The spec also suggests 4GB of RAM, the most we've seen in any phone so far. And the screen gets an upgrade from 1080x1920 to 1440x2560 (quad HD) - good news, as this phone has one of the larger screens, so the update will make a huge difference. The camera also gets a boost too, with a 16-megapixel shooter replacing the Note 3's 13-megapixel model.

Earlier rumours of the Note shipping with a three-sided display, or some other new-fangled tech seem to have been proved wrong.
