If you like Amazon and Android enough to have a Kindle Fire but still have a soft spot in your heart for Microsoft when it comes to webmail, this news is for you.

Microsoft has just pushed a new Kindle Fire-optimized Hotmail app, bringing with it fully functional Exchange ActiveSync support.

Users can also set up multiple Hotmail accounts for simultaneous viewing, and a large tablet interface makes all the basic functions - sending and receiving attachments, sorting e-mails, navigating through folders - a seamless process.

The app is now available through the Kindle Fire's proprietary app marketplace.
