Buick has released a trio of free-to-play mobile games to help promote its eAssist fuel efficiency technology.

The games — which come bundled together in a single app on both Android and iOS — are designed to promote various aspects of the technology. For example, the game "Regeneration Road" tasks players with driving to a specific destination without running out of fuel, using regenerative braking to conserve how much is used.

The two other games are "Roll and Boost" — where players need to drive as far as possible on a single tank of fuel — and "Wind Tunnel Tester" — where the goal is to tweak the shape of a car to make it more aerodynamic and thus more fuel efficient.

According to Buick, the eAssist technology can improve fuel economy by up to 25 percent.

You can download Buick's fuel efficiency games from both the Android Market and Apple App Store.
