Finally following in the footsteps of every major air carrier, Alaska Airlines has now launched an official Android app.

The app offers users the ability to check all their itineraries, track flight status, and edit their seat selection on-the-go. It also features a mobile boarding pass option.

Beyond all those standard mobile airline app details, Alaska Airlines also lets users place notes about hotel and car reservations, and also includes parking reminders.

Alaska Airlines offers flights to 90 destinations throughout the US, but it also gains a lot of traction through codeshares with many other airlines domestically and internationally.

The Alaska Airlines app is available now on the Android Market.
