Netflix has revealed three new games—Card Blast, Shooting Hoops, and Teeter Up—in Europe as part of its efforts to prove no company will offer a better "Netflix for gaming" than Netflix itself.

The new games were originally teased in a tweet from the Netflix Geeked account. TechCrunch reports that the company's trio of mobile games are set to be available to existing subscribers in Italy, Poland, and Spain in a new "Games" tab inside of its Android app.

These aren't Netflix's first Android games; the company released two Stranger ThingsStranger Things tie-ins to its Polish customers in August. But they are its first original titles, and releasing them just a month after the Stranger Things games suggests Netflix is serious about mobile gaming.

It's still early in Netflix's expansion outside of movies and TV shows, however, as evidenced by the lack of support for iOS devices and these games' European exclusivity. That could also be why (with the exception of requiring an active Netflix subscription) the games aren't monetized.

There's no denying that Netflix pursues the categories it's interested in with fervor, though. A few years ago, its original content was a novelty; now it's devoting entire online conventions to its upcoming releases. Maybe we'll see as many Netflix games as we do true crime series.
