If you’ve been looking to upgrade your tech but have been holding off because of your limited budget, Amazon Prime Day was a great time to shop. We've found plenty of high-quality deals under $100 (and in some cases under $50) that are still available. This is some good stuff. We promise. Ready to dive into the virtual bargain bin? Here we go!

In the era of streaming, there are plenty of options to replace cable, but the first step, if you don’t have a Smart TV, is to buy a streaming device like a Fire Stick or Roku Streaming Stick. Luckily for you, if you’ve been

A highly customizable, responsive wired gaming mouse, the G502 Hero features RGB lighting that can be customized via Logitech's gaming software app. The buttons can also be adjusted so you can set custom key binds to your preference. The buttons that are used to control the DPI settings can also be tweaked within the software; so, if you're interested in this mouse for the aesthetic and not the super-fast DPI settings, you can tailor the sensitivity levels to keep them at a rate you're comfortable with.

The already reasonably priced Logitech G435 Lightspeed gaming headphones are 50% off after Prime Day. They feature large ear cuffs so you'll have great isolation to help you focus on your game, and a built-in mic so you can chat with your buddies while you're taking down the next boss. Logitech touts good battery life too, so you'll be able to use them for about 18 hours before stopping to plug them in.

Some computers also use more electricity than others and sadly, all it takes is one sudden power surge and your rig could be damaged. That's why it's important to only use power strips that have surge protection and this one from trusted brand Belkin has 12 outlets, a handle for neat cable management, and is less than $40.

This Prime Day, you can happily grab a super responsive gaming mouse with 26K DPI which received an “Excellent” rating from our experts. The Razer Basilisk V3 Gaming Mouse features 11 programmable buttons, so if you’re one of those folks who likes to bind certain keys to their mouse to avoid reaching for the keyboard, it's worth considering.

If you’re a PC gamer and ready to do away with those clunky over-ear headsets, the ASUS ROG Cetras gaming-centric wireless earbuds are on sale for less than $70.

If you're cognizant of your impact on the environment or are looking for reasons to save money on energy, you can snag a TP-Link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug for just $21x.99 for Prime day. The plug monitors your energy usage and is compatible with all three of the major voice assistants: Alexa and Google Assistant, and Siri. The Plug received an Editors’ Choice Award and an “Outstanding” 4.5-star rating in our review.

If you need to dial up your storage and are afraid of opening up your computer case, or you have a laptop and are looking for portable storage, check out the Samsung T7 Shield. Our review described it as being “impervious to dust, rain, and tumbles.” and a “durable and secure choice for outdoor workers and travelers." And it's on sale for $70 off.

Looking for a set of earbuds that you can take with you on your morning run? Today might be your day! You can score the Beats Studio Buds for $71 off! Giving you a sweat-resistant, AirPod-like experience without paying AirPod money. Our review of the Beats Studio Buds gave them a "Good" rating, praising their "relatively affordable active noise cancellation, solid-iOS integration and easy-to-use on-ear controls." Despite Apple's ownership of Beats, these earbuds are also compatible with android devices.

The JBL Tunebuds, which received an “Excellent” rating from our experts and our our review found that their "IP54 rating" was “slightly better than average for noise-canceling earphones.” The Tunebuds also boast a 10-12 hour battery life, depending on whether or not you toggle Active Noise Cancellation. “The earphones have no trouble reproducing the sub-bass at the 34-second mark of Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty.” The deepest of these low notes come across clearly with subwoofer-like rumble, while the drum loop gets some extra thump. The various vocals sound crisp and clear thanks to some sculpting in the high mids and highs,” according to our review. If you like to have your bass thumping while you’re listening to your favorite tunes, this may be a pair to consider.

Looking for a gaming keyboard for less than $50? It's older, but when we reviewed ths C213 Prodigy, we found that it syncs perfectly with other Logitech G products, and it comes with multiple lighting schemes, and is water resistant to ward off spills. Best of all, however, is how affordable it is right now.

My Experience

Prior to interning with PCMag, I attended the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism for two semesters and will graduate in December, 2024. During my time at the J-school I gained a lot of experience filing Freedom of Information Act requests. Prior to starting my internship with PCMag, I filed over a dozen Freedom of Information Law requests across New York State. I’m also a big fan of interactive news stories with neat visualizations.

Before attending J-School, I was a student at SUNY Old Westbury where I was a contributor to the school newspaper and a safety aid for the University Police Department. As an intern with PCMag, I cover tech news, write feature stories, and carefully craft how-to guides and reviews of consumer electronics.

My Areas of Interest

I have many interests and areas of knowledge, but I don’t consider myself an expert in most things. I pay close attention to national politics and international affairs, and recently began following New York City politics.

When I have free time, you can usually find me gaming, watching a documentary, enjoying a cup of coffee, or going on a long walk. I grew up playing video games on consoles, but I got my first gaming PC in 2020 and have never looked back. My favorite PC-exclusive games are FiveM, Arma Reforger, and Squad—but these days, I mainly play Arma Reforger.

The Technology I Use

Most days you can find me jumping back and forth between my MacBook Pro and my desktop PC, an Alienware Aurora R10. Under the hood, it has 32GB of RAM, a Ryzen 7 3800x CPU, and an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. I originally wanted to have a computer built, but my brother and I both got our PCs in 2020 and therefore had to split the computer budget between us, so we compromised and I got the prebuilt PC.
