Asia's known for all sorts of interesting things. Recently, a Taiwanese tea company featured a Steve Jobs impersonator in a commercial for one of its products, DVICE is reporting.

As per the commercial, drinkers of Tong Yi Cha can participate in a new promotion to win an iPad 2, and this is where the company got creative. The impersonator doesn't match Jobs' voice, but he does match his cadence. He has Jobs' mannerisms down, and he does look eerily similar to the King of Cupertino. He's even got the rimless glasses.

The commercial spot is only 20 seconds long. Despite this time constraint, the set precisely mimics an Apple keynote. With his arms behind his back, the faux-Jobs, clad in trademark black turtleneck and blue jeans, walks on to the stage, and says, "You don't need to be jealous of other iPad 2 owners (Jobs pause) anymore."

Faux-Jobs holds the bag of Tong Yi Cha as if it were one of Apple's iPhones or iPod touches. For a brief moment, he's holding a small box of tea that looks closer in size to an iDevice.

The Jobs clone says, "Because right now, if you purchase any Tong Yi Cha, you can win an iPad 2 (Jobs pause) every week." With this, the crowd erupts with applause.

It remains to be seen if Apple will go after the company for the spoof. In November, Apple sent a cease and desist letter to the company selling a Steve Jobs action figure. The Steve Jobs comic book, however, appears to be proceeding without incident.
