Want to be among the first people to own a triple-fold smartphone? Samsung’s new Galaxy Z TriFold is set to go on sale in the US later this week.

The foldable phone launches on Friday, Jan. 30. It will be available to buy through Samsung’s Experience Stores, which include seven locations across California, Minnesota, New York, and Texas, or through its website, starting at 10 a.m. ET.

Samsung isn’t running preorders for the Galaxy Z TriFold, so you may have to act quickly on Friday to secure one; the brand sold out within minutes during its South Korean launch.

If you plan to buy one, this is likely to be the most you’ve ever spent on a smartphone: it costs $2,899. You can pick up the phone in its Crafted Black color, and you’ll get 512GB of storage.

The phone features a 10-inch, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate display when fully extended, offering 269 pixels per inch. The outer display is a 6.5-inch Full HD screen with a peak brightness of 2600 nits and the same 120Hz tech.

The rear of the phone features a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 200MP wide-angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with three times optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. There are two 10MP selfie cameras: one for when the phone is folded, and another on the inner display when unfolded.

Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16GB of RAM, a 5,600mAh battery, 45W fast charging, and Android 16 with One UI 8.

If you want to try out the phone before you buy one, you’ll have to head to one of Samsung’s Experience Stores, which have now begun showcasing the handset. Locations across the US are limited, so it may be difficult to try one out.
