In the market for a new iDevice? Wait until Oct. 22 and you can snag a free trial of Apple Arcade and Apple TV+, too.

Anyone who buys a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac starting next Thursday will be granted three months of gratis gaming and a whole year of original shows and movies. Each subscription normally costs $4.99 a month for access to more than 100 exclusive titles with no ads or in-app purchases. Free trials may be divvied up between six people through Family Sharing.

Cupertino often uses trial periods to reel in more users: Last year, it gave Apple TV+ customers 12 months of service with the purchase of an eligible device—a deal Apple recently extended through February 2021. It's also given away three months of free Apple Music in the past. But, as 9To5Mac pointed out, users can only redeem trials once, so you can't claim another 365 days for watching and if you already did last year. Both special offers are good for three months after the first activation of an eligible device, so set a reminder to sign up for yours before it's too late.

Apple Arcade launched in September 2019 with downloadable games from major developers including Capcom, Konami, and Sega, as well as indie labels like Annapurna Interactive. The TV+ streaming platform made its debut two months later with a handful of series, including , , and an Emily Dickinson biopic.

With the recent introduction of Apple One, customers will soon be able to pay one price for up to six of Apple's premium subscription services: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+. Bundles range from $14.95 to $29.95 a month, and it's definitely worth the cost.
