Apple is set to unveil iOS 19 at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 9. The operating system will reportedly get its biggest overhaul since iOS 7 in 2013, and YouTuber Jon Prosser claims to have another early look at it.
In a video uploaded Monday, Prosser shared recreated mock-ups of the mobile OS. These images are based on the material his team received from sources at Apple, he says.
Per the video, iOS 19’s app icons will get rounder, but they won’t be as round as the ones for visionOS or watchOS. In the build Prosser received, Apple hid the rounded app icons under the existing design; he spotted the change only after holding down an app icon.

A mock-up of the location permissions dialog box shows rounded corners for the request window and its options. A mock-up of the Control Center indicated rounded corners for the volume and brightness sliders as well.

According to Prosser, Apple is internally calling the redesigned navigation bar “Tab View,” and support for it will be extended to third-party apps.
The Messages app gets an unexpected change, too. The Search bar moves from the top of the interface to the bottom center, with its width reduced to nearly half.
Apple is known for maintaining a consistent interface across its apps. So, if the position and shape of the Search bar have been modified for one native app, we can expect the same for other apps. Even in Prosser's mockups for the Music app, the search bar is at the bottom.

Last month, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman threw cold water on Prosser's leaks, arguing that "iOS 19 images floating around aren't representative of what we'll see at WWDC [and appear] to be based on either very old builds or vague descriptions, missing key features."
However, the YouTuber’s new leaks somewhat align with Gurman’s previous report about circular app icons and updated navigation panels.
