The Harvest Moon series of games has been bringing simulated farming action to various consoles for ten years, and the Rune Factory series expands the agricultural fun to include a little more action. Rune Factory 2 puts you in charge of a small farm, where you can grow and sell crops, raise livestock, befriend the villagers, and head off into the wilderness to fight the monsters that dwell there. Is fantasy farming for everyone? No. But those who like pretending to water crops and milk cows will find this entry in the series more than satisfying.
