Pros & Cons

The Belkin USB 2.0/FireWire Hi-Speed PCI Card has the same five external ports as the other two combo cards, but it doesn't offer internal ports. If that meant a price break on the card, we'd heartily endorse this product. Unfortunately, it doesn't.

The package also leaves out digital-video software, as the other two cards do; nor does it bundle any cables. Belkin does include an internal power connector, which can help devices that draw lots of power.

Since this card carries the same sticker price as the others we reviewed, you might as well get a combo card with internal ports.
