Pros & Cons

Like Adaptec, Belkin sells a kit with a hub—the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Computer Upgrade Kit—but the hub is far less elegant than Adaptec's and a disappointment for the price ($90 list). On its own, however, the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 5-Port PCI Card is a sound buy. It includes four external ports and one internal, making the card more convenient than the Adaptec card. The internal port is accessible only from the inside of a PC—oddly enough. No cable is included with the Belkin PCI Card, but one is bundled with the Upgrade Kit.
