The Q50 Hybrid is quick, comfortable, and loaded with driver assists and safety features if you spend the six grand for the two options packages.

The center stack uses two touch-screen displays plus a control wheel on the console. The top screen is mostly for navigation and the lower screen for climate control and infotainment, although material for any function can appear on either screen.

You'll find the car very fast. Just don't plan to carry a lot of luggage.

The traditional driver assists all work well. Infiniti's forward collision warning is "predictive," meaning Infiniti bounces a radar beam both at and under the car in front to track what's happening ahead.

The Q50 Hybrid is rated at 5.2 seconds 0-60mph with rear-wheel drive, and 4.8 seconds with all-wheel drive.

The back seat is reasonable, but the trunk battery pack steals luggage room.

Other than the volume control, everything in the center stack is a button, not a knob.
