Pros & Cons

Cartagio Specs

Type: Personal
Type: Professional

A serious research organizer, Cartagio, with its Home ($75), Professional ($175), and Enterprise ($395) versions, has a complex interface well worth learning. Cartagio is project-oriented and even includes a clipboard for the quick filing of URLs or thoughts to follow up on later.

You can use the Project Organizer to define a goal, browse for relevant pages, save snippets of pages with your comments and keywords, and compile a list of bookmarks. The Professional version includes time tracking and billing, project statistics, and a built-in document editor; Enterprise adds group features such as collaboration, administration, and remote capabilities.
