Google today is hosting a press event in San Francisco, which will likely include the launch of several devices, from new Android Nougat smartphones to a souped-up Chromecast.

Things kick off at 9 a.m. PT/Noon ET, and Google will live stream the presser on YouTube (embedded below). PCMag's Tom Brant will also be there; follow along via @PCMagLive and check back to PCMag.com for hands-on takes and analysis following the event.

The big reveal will be Google's new phones, which will reportedly drop the Nexus moniker in favor of Pixel. We also expect details on Google's Echo competitor, Google Home, as well as a 4K Chromecast and perhaps a new router.

Until then, check out our rundown of what to expect at today's event and why PCMag's Sascha Segan isn't convinced the Pixel phones will be a game changer.
