Did you know Sainsbury's had an on-demand movie and TV streaming service? Well, if you didn't, you do now. Similar in concept to Tesco's Blinkbox, Sainsbury's offering is largely the same. You can buy individual TV episodes for about £2.50, or whole seasons for £16. Movies can be rented or bought, with rentals starting at £2 and bought for around £10, with some offers.

The Roku is the first big name to get access to Sainsbury's store, which launched in 2013 and seems to have been largely ignored ever since. Hardly a surprise though, given the amount of similar rental and download services there are in the UK. Really, Sainsbury's offering will only appeal to those who collect Nectar points, which you'll gain as you spend money on the service.

Roku's players start from £40, and its Streaming Stick is £50, and offers a pretty much hassle-free way to get streaming video on your TV. The Roku 3 is £100, and has some neat features, most impressive of which is a headphone jack on the Bluetooth remote that allows you to listen to what you're watching on TV without bothering anyone else in the house.
