The rumor mill has been churning out reports of a second generation iPad for quite some time. Now an iPad 2 case has been spotted on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Engadget said that a Chinese company called Dexim is showing a case for the device, complete with a aluminum mockup of the iPad 2. Engadget also said they tried to put their own first generation iPad in the case, and it didn't fit.

The iPad 2 case is designed for a slimmer device. The site said that the tapered edges are reminiscent of the iPod touch. The home button has also moved down closer to the bottom of the iPad.

The case features both a hole on both sides for rear- and front-facing cameras that have been widely reported. Other than that, it features the same cutouts for things like volume control and a headphone dock as usual. Does this mean that there won't be a USB port as it's been rumored?

The case does support the reports that the next iPad will have a bigger speaker, with a large square on the back.

However, this isn't the first time that the new case has been reported. Over the weekend, leaked images of cases for the iPad 2 hit the Apple news site 9to5 Mac and the trading site Alibaba.

But run off to those sites just yet. An unnamed company allegedly contacted both sites with takedown notices for the pictures. Despite this, a company involved in Apple's supply chain has said that the leaked images were "extremely accurate" to the device's design.

But there are still rumors that persist about the hotly anticipated device that these cases don't support, assuming they are actually legitimate.
