Mark your calendars: the OnePlus X smartphone arrives on Oct. 29.

A London debut was teased on social media, while a blog post on the company's Chinese-language site confirmed a similar event in Beijing.

Accompanied by the hashtag #PowerfullyBeautiful, invitations for the China reveal include images of an empty warehouse, a brick-lined music studio, the ocean, a foggy city, and a dense forest—perhaps indications of the phone's far-reaching functionality.

The Verge earlier this week spotted a Federal Communications Commission filing that detailed a new OnePlus device. Model E1005 has a 5.5-inch display with metal edging, a rear camera, and micro-USB port. It runs a 1.9GHz processor and has support for LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and FM radios, the filing said.

The announcement comes shortly after OnePlus apologized for the botched launches of its first two devices. The OnePlus One was nearly impossible to actually purchase—you needed to snag an invite, or buy during a flash sale or on a Tuesday. OnePlus "made rosy plans" for the OnePlus 2 rollout, but again ran into supply issues.

In an effort to combat those problems abroad, OnePlus announced a partnership with Foxconn to manufacture devices in India rather than importing them from China. Local production will begin before the end of the year, at a 30,000-square-foot facility in Andhra Pradesh. With a peak capacity of up to 500,000 units per month, the factory will also generate more than 1,000 full-time jobs.
