For those with the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, Logitech today unveiled the Create Backlit Keyboard Case with Smart Connector, which includes a protective case, backlit keyboard, and integrated holder for the Apple Pencil.

The keyboard includes a row of dedicated iOS shortcuts, which lets users quickly access the home screen, search, adjust screen brightness, and control audio or video playback with just one tap.

"Create is like the Swiss Army Knife of keyboard cases. It puts all the tools you need at your fingertips," Michele Hermann, vice president of tablet accessories at Logitech, said in a statement. "It brings typing on the iPad Pro to a whole new level."

Designed specifically to work with Apple's Smart Connector (those three little dots on the edge of the tablet), the Create case automatically powers on and pairs once an iPad Pro is placed into typing position—no Bluetooth needed.

Plus, the keyboard charges through the iPad Pro, so you don't need to carry any extra cables or worry about losing functionality mid-sentence.

Available in blue or black for $129.99 via Logitech and Apple, the Create keyboard is not the Swiss manufacturer's first Smart Connector accessory. In April, Logitech released its $99 Logi Base holder for the 9.7- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
