If you're an iPad Pro owner looking for a way to prop up your device and charge it at the same time, Logitech has a new solution.

The Logi Base, available for the 9.7- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, uses the tablet's Smart Connector to charge the tablet. The Smart Connector—those three little dots on the edge of the iPad Pro— currently connects the tablet to Apple's Smart Keyboard.

"Logi Base is the first device to charge your iPad Pro through the Smart Connector, and charging has never been friendlier," Logitech says in a statement. "Magnets in the charging cradle guide your iPad Pro into place to align with the Smart Connector, with no need to search for a charging port; just drop your iPad Pro in and go."

The Lightning cable then connects on the back of the Logi Base, so you don't have any unsightly cords dangling from the edge of your iPad Pro. Use can use the Lightning port on the tablet to charge your Pencil instead.

At $99, the Logi Base is a bit pricey for a stand, especially since the iPad Pro itself is expensive, too. But it's a sleek-looking gadget if you have the extra cash. And this might usher in other, more affordable accessories that take advantage of the Smart Connector.

The Logi Base is available today from Logitech and in Apple's retail stores.
