Pros & Cons

This is a traditional learning title (third in a series) that benefits from the endearing 4-year-old bald cutie and PBS favorite, Caillou. He's a lot like most kids: His life isn't always easy, and he doesn't always make the right choices but, of course, always learns important lessons.

Kids can explore Caillou's environs in each of the four seasons, playing games and doing lots of other activities. While they play, they learn about shapes, numbers, rhymes, and more. As kids conquer each challenge, they collect a seasonal object to add to a printable nature book. Once kids become adept at an activity, they can ratchet up the difficulty level. Help is always available and easy to find. This is a fun game for kids to play with parents or, when they're a bit older, all by themselves. For kids aged 2 to 6.

Carol Mangis

Carol Mangis

Managing Editor

My first editorial job (as a nascent copy editor) was at PC Magazine. I started working here in 1997, when print was huge (as was the magazine itself), personal computers were well on the way to becoming mainstream, smartphones didn’t exist, and floppy disks were de rigueur. I worked up to Senior Editor, then left in 2010 for Consumer Reports to work for its electronics team. After spending one lost year in marketing, I happily returned to PCMag in 2016 to edit and produce the PCMag Digital Edition, which I’m still doing today, along with various other projects as they arise.
