Siri is showing off her musical chops. Apple's iPhone 4S voice assistant is featured alongside Erykah Badu on a new track from the Flaming Lips called "Now I Understand."

On the song, Siri is heard addressing frontman Wayne Coyne.

"Wayne, I don't understand the moon, the stars, and the sun," Siri sings (or rather speaks).

This isn't Siri's first foray into music. Internet minstrel Jonathan Mann included Siri's vocal stylings in A Duet With Siri (below), a track in which he declared his love for the voice assistant, and she responded with confusion or some kind of witty comeback.

Siri has also proved pretty adept at spitting classic rhymes. Last month, a video featuring Siri laying down a cover of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize" made the rounds on the Web. According to TheNextWeb, the track was made possible through a hack carried out for the Music Hack Day 2011 competition in London.

This week, Siri also appeared on the show The Big Bang Theory on CBS. TUAW reported that in the latest episode, one of the characters, astrophysicist Raj, purchases an iPhone 4S and spends most of the time tinkering with the integrated voice assistant. While Raj is typically unlucky with women, he hits it off with Siri. TUAW noted, however, that Siri is played by an actor, not the automated voice you'll hear when you use the tool on your iPhone 4S.
