Indeed Resume (Beta)

To post a resume you may either sign in with your Facebook credentials or create an account for free. All you need is an e-mail address and password to get started.

If you have an existing resume, you can upload and edit it to get started. I used a Word document.

Theupload worked pretty well overalll--it carried over my bullet points, for example--but when it came to sorting my information, Indeed hit a couple of snags. Here, you can see that some of my skills have listed under work experience.

While the beta version of the service doesn't allow you to repurpose your resume to apply for jobs listed on the site, Indeed does let you set up e-mail alerts.

Adding experience is easy: all it takes is a job title, employer, location, and date. There's also a place to include your job duties.

Once you're finished, you're resume will be available online. From the page potential employers may contact you via an integrated e-mail form.

The link to your resume, while available online, is less than personal. I would love to see Indeed link to (or at least redirect from) your account name.

You can download the final product as a PDF from your resume web page. It's clean, though fairly basic.
