Apple is offering a free month of MLS Season Pass, provided you’re a previous subscriber.

Apple’s MLS Season Pass subscription currently costs $14.99 a month or $99 for the entire season and includes access to every 2024 match live, with no blackouts.

On Saturday, Apple sent an email and push notification to previous subscribers offering a one-month free trial of the subscription service. Spotted by 9to5Mac, the free offer can be redeemed anytime between now and April 6. Once your free trial ends you’ll be charged that $14.99 per month ($12.99 if you’re also an Apple TV+ subscriber) unless you cancel.

If you’re a previous MLS Season Pass subscriber and didn’t get an invitation for the free trial, you can try your luck signing up for the promotion through Apple’s website. The fine print for the promotion says that it’s only valid for “qualified returning customers,” so your success may vary.

Apple announced a 10-year deal with Major League Soccer in June 2022. While the financials of the deal were not disclosed, it's estimate to be worth upward of $150 million per year.

T-Mobile customers previously got access to MLS Season Pass, though that deal was not renewed this year. (T-Mobile's yearly MLB TV promotion is still happening, though; sign up between March 26 and April 2 in the T-Mobile Tuesdays section of the new T Life app.)
